Cannons
Our collection comprises 1-inch bore Lantaka bronze cannons. Hand-railed mounted on vessels travelling the Malay Archipelago. Probably cast during the early 1700s and used by many maritime powers including the Dutch and Spanish. Many of these were also cast by the colonial powers as gifts to the Sultans of the Malay Archipelago.
